Megaloolithus cylindricus
Taxonomy
Megaloolithus cylindricus was named by Khosla and Sahni (1995). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is VPL/KH 201, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chui Hill, Jabalpur [Lower Limestone], which is in a Maastrichtian delta plain limestone in the Lameta Formation of India.
It was synonymized subjectively with Megaloolithus khempurensis by Mohabey (2001).
