Megaloolithus jabalpurensis
Taxonomy
Megaloolithus jabalpurensis was named by Khosla and Sahni (1995). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is VPL/KH 250, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bara Simla, Jabalpur [Main Limestone], which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial framestone in the Lameta Formation of India.
It was synonymized subjectively with Megaloolithus dhoridungriensis by Mohabey (2001).
