Hantzschel 1975Smooth, flat, concave ribbon (1 to 2 cm wide), straight or slightly curved; with pronounced single transverse ridges, mostly straight, usually not extending to sides, at regular or irregular intervals, also occasionally closely spaced, passing into obliquely textured band (backfill of trail) consisting of sandy laminae; rarely faint longitudinal furrows.
