Spheroolithus maiasauroides
Taxonomy
Spheroolithus maiasauroides was named by Mikhailov (1994). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 4228-2, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baga-Tariach [SMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
