Triimitoceras was named by Korn et al. (2003). It is not extant. Its type is Triimitoceras epiwocklumeriforme.
It was assigned to Imitoceratinae by Korn (2006); and to Prionoceratidae by Korn et al. (2003), Furnish et al. (2009).
