It was assigned to Fissurellinae by Knight et al. (1960); to Fissurellidae by Kensley and Pether (1986); to Fissurellidinae by Pacaud and Le Renard (1995); to Archaeogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Fissurellideini by Bouchet et al. (2005).
