J. B. Waterhouse 1960Cryptomphalous, medium-sized globular turbiniform pleurotomariids; slit placed above mid-height of the whorl, one fifth of the whorl circumference deep; selenizone narrow and convex, either smooth or ornamented with nodules; whorl periphery lies below selenizone, whorl profile subangular, and slightly concave above the slit, base flattened; whorls ornamented by strong revolving costae or nodules.
