Cheungkongella ancestralis
Taxonomy
Cheungkongella ancestralis was named by Shu et al. (2001). Its type specimen is ELI-0000195, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Haikou [Yuanshan Fm (formerly Qiongzhusi)], which is in an Atdabanian marine mudstone in the Yuanshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Cheungkongella.
