Eomys alulghensis

Taxonomy
Eomys alulghensis was named by Cuenca and Canudo (1994). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MPZ AHJ-2-162, a tooth (m1,2 inf.). Its type locality is Hinojosa de Jarque 2, which is in a MP 29 terrestrial horizon in Spain.

G. Cuenca and J.I. Canudo 1994C'est une espèce de genre Eomys de taille forte aves les crêtes bien développées. Les mésolophes et mésolophides sont en général complets dans les molaires et l'antérolophe, le postérolophe de P4 et le postérolophide de p4 sont complets ou demi-longs. Quelques spécimens montrent une onrementation dans le sinuside. Les P4 et Mm3 sont nettement plus courtes que les molaires.
