Leptolepis neocomiensis

Taxonomy
Leptolepis neocomiensis was named by Bassani (1879). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lesina (K.K. Geologischen Reichsanstalt GBA collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Starigrad Limestone Formation of Croatia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Leptolepis brodiei by Woodward (1919).
