Komiella ostiolata

Taxonomy
Chonetes ostiolatus was named by Girty (1910). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 3511, Cap Rock Mine, Montpelier Canyon, Bear Lake County, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Phosphoria Formation of Idaho.

It was recombined as Lissochonetes ostiolatus by Bamber and Waterhouse (1971); it was recombined as Svalbardia ostiolata by Weldon and Shi (2000); it was recombined as Komiella ostiolata by Clapham (2015).
