It was recombined as Alectrion mendicus by Oldroyd (1925); it was recombined as Alectrion mendica by Jordan (1926); it was recombined as Alectrion (Schizopyga) mendica by Waterfall (1929); it was recombined as Nassarius (Schizopyga) mendicus by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Nassarius mendicus by Clark (1931); it was recombined as Nassaria mendica by Dibblee (1966); it was recombined as Hima mendicus by Powell (2009); it was recombined as Hima mendica by Hendy (2021).
