Taxonomy
Terebratula radialis was named by Phillips (1836).

It was recombined as Atrypa radialis by McCoy (1844); it was recombined as Spirigerina radialis by McCoy (1855); it was recombined as Retzia radialis by Morris (1854), Walcott (1884).
