Leptosalenia sergipensis

Taxonomy

Salenia sergipensis was named by White (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lastro, perto de Maroim, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Riacheulo Formation of Brazil.

It was recombined as Leptosalenia sergipensis by Smith (1991).

Synonyms

Salenia similis was named by White (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lastro, perto de Maroim, which is in an Albian carbonate limestone in the Riacheulo Formation of Brazil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Leptosalenia sergipensis by Smith (1991).
Salenia dombeensis was named by de Loriol (1888). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dombe-Grande (couches à Pholadomya pleuromyaeformis), which is in an Aptian marine sandstone in Angola.

It was synonymized subjectively with Leptosalenia sergipensis by Smith (1991).
