Cerithium subcorrugatum was named by d'Orbigny (1852) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Oligocene-Early Miocene; France, Turkey, Iran.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Potamides (Terebralia) subcorrugatus by Vignal (1911); it was recombined as Terebralia subcorrugata by Cossmann (1906), Harzhauser (2004).
