Dicothodon bajaensis
Taxonomy
Polyglyphanodon bajaensis was named by Nydam (1999). Its type specimen is IGM 6965, a tooth (posterior tooth), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is El Rosario, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the El Gallo Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Dicothodon bajaensis by Nydam et al. (2007), Reynoso and Cruz (2014).
