Taxonomy
Acinetaster konieckii was named by Kesling (1982). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Holotype UMMP 64833. Its type locality is Acinetaster collection, Arkona Shale, Ausable River, which is in a Devonian marine limestone in the Arkona Shale Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Acinetaster.
