Taxonomy
Yoldia cooperi tenuissima was named by Clark (1918) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Oligocene; Pacific Coast, North America.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 11110, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Yoldia cooperii tenuissima by Clark (1918); it was recombined as Yoldia tenuissima by Clark (1925); it was recombined as Yoldia (Kalayoldia) tenuissima by Addicott (1973), Moore (1983).
