Richmondoceras brevicameratum
Taxonomy
Richmondoceras brevicameratum was named by Frey (1995). Its type specimen is MU 398T, a partial shell (body chamber and adoral portions of phragmocone), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Laugherty Creek, which is in a Richmondian shallow subtidal limestone in the Saluda Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Richmondoceras.
