Taxonomy
Triendoceras davisi was named by Frey (1995). Its type specimen is MU 410T, a shell, and it is a cast. Its type locality is Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, which is in an Edenian deep subtidal shelf claystone in the Kope Formation of Kentucky.
