Beloitoceras amoenum
Taxonomy
Cyrtoceras amoenum was named by Miller (1879). Its type specimen is UC 106 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Richmond, Whitewater Fm., which is in a Richmondian perireef or subreef reef rocks in the Whitewater Formation of Indiana.
It was recombined as Beloitoceras amoenum by Flower (1946).
