Hudsonaster ordovicus

Taxonomy
Belaster ordovicus was named by Spencer (1916). Its type specimen is Holotype BMNH E52416a,b and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Belaster.

It was recombined as Protopalaeaster ordovicus by Spencer (1950) and Owen (1965); it was recombined as Hudsonaster ordovicus by Dean Shackleton (2005).
