Cassigerinelloita was named by Stolk (1965) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-l T Eo-m-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cassigerinellidae by Stolk (1965); to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Guembelitriidae by Li and Radford (1992), Fucek et al. (2018).

Radford 1992Test small, 70-120 pm, subspherical to polygonal, without a distinct periphery, chambers inflated, spherical, alternately pseudoplanispiral and trise- rial, surface pustulate and microperforate, aperture small, arched, with or without a lip, secondary apertures developed on the final stage of some individuals.
