  • Conus sewalli was named by Maury (1917) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Dominican Republic.]. It is a 3D body fossil.

    It was recombined as Purpuriconus sewalli by Tucker and Tenorio (2009); it was synonymized subjectively with Conus (Stephanoconus) sewalli by Hendricks (2015).
