Turris (Surcula) parkeri was named by Gabb (1873) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene-Pliocene; Caribbean.]. Its type specimen is ANSP 2924, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Drillia parkeri by Pilsbry (1922); it was recombined as Leptadrillia parkeri by Woodring (1928), Hendy et al. (2008).
