It was assigned to Neogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); to Turridae by Kiel (2006); to Mangeliinae by MacNeil (1960), Wienrich and Janssen (2007); and to Mangeliidae by Bouchet et al. (2011), Schnetler et al. (2024).
