Tritonium viridulum was named by Fabricius (1780) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Northern Atlantic.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Lora viridula by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Admete viridula by Hendy et al. (2008).
