Taxonomy
Palasterina orchilocalia was named by Herringshaw et al. (2007). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Holotype BU 675. Its type locality is Wren's Nest, which is in a Wenlock reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Much Wenlock Formation of the United Kingdom.
