Wannaganosuchus brachymanus
Taxonomy
Wannaganosuchus brachymanus was named by Erickson (1982). Its type specimen is SMM P76.28.247, a skull (essentially complete skull), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Wannagan Creek Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian mire/swamp shale/shale in the Bullion Creek Formation of North Dakota.
It was recombined as Allognathosuchus brachymanus by Sullivan et al. (1988).
