Procaimanoidea kayi
Taxonomy
Hassiacosuchus kayi was named by Mook (1941). Its type specimen is CM 9600, a skeleton (near perfect skull, jaws and post-cranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Levitt Creek, Mountain View, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Procaimanoidea kayi by Wassersug and Hecht (1967) and Brochu (1999).
