L. Dolin 1997Projenneria have an Ovulid shell heavy, almond- shaped with a sub-median aperture. The siphonal canal and the exhalant channel are surmounted by bulboused bridges. The fossula is auriform. The terminal ridge is short, crescent moon-shaped, with a strong transverse tooth. The ventral area is entirely covered by teeth. Two thickened lobes forms dorsally a longitudinal sulcus, delimited at each extremity by two deep pseudumbilicus.
