Taxonomy
Terebra (Duplicaria) maunguensis was named by Vredenburg (1921) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene-Miocene; Myanmar, India.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Myaungu (Sitsayan stage), which is in a Rupelian marine horizon in the Sitsayan Formation of Myanmar.
