It was assigned to Neptuneidae by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); to Buccinidae by Addicott (1970); to Pseudolivinae by Vermeij (1998); to Neogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pseudolividae by Nielsen and Frassinetti (2003).
