J. Jin 2005Small to medium-sized, smooth, ventribiconvex shells; fold or sulcus absent with rectimarginate anterior commissure. Ventral median septum short, restricted to umbonal area. Inner hinge plates strongly divergent basolaterally; crura crescentshaped in cross section, forming carinae at junctions with both inner and outer hinge plates.
