Mahajangasuchus insignis
Taxonomy
Mahajangasuchus insignis was named by Buckley and Brochu (1999). Its type specimen is University of Antananarivo 8654, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MAD93-35 (SUNY), which is in a Maastrichtian channel sandstone in the Maevarano Formation of Madagascar.
