Taxonomy
Albanerpeton arthridion was named by Fox and Naylor (1982). Its type specimen is FMNH PR 805, a partial skull (right premaxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Forestburg, which is in an Albian marginal marine sandstone in the Paluxy Formation of Texas.
