Nassa columbelloides polonica was named by Pusch (1837) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Paratethys.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Pyrene (Alia) polonica by Baluk (1995) and Harzhauser (2002).
