Taxonomy
Globularia (Cernina) nakamurai was named by Otuka (1938) [DISTRIBUTION: Middle Miocene; Japan.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Cernina nakamurai by Takayasu (1986); it was recombined as Cernina fluctuata nakamurai by Majima (1989).
