Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. D. Hoare et al. 1972Body elongate and narrow. Head valve broadly rounded, relatively uniform steep anterior and lateral slopes and probably extended posteriorly in a short apex. Intermediate valves slightly wider than long, jugum broadly rounded, jugal areas not distinctly set off from lateral areas, posterior apex extending over next valve and jugal sinus broadly rounded. Tail valve subequidimensional to elongate, keel narrow and long terminating in a blunt and ventrally curved mucro near posterior margin, posterior margin narrowly rounded and lateral slopes convex.

Surface sculpture of valves of very fine and closely spaced granules arranged in quincunx and coarse lines of growth may be present near margins of valves. Sutural laminae narrow, heavy and sharply rounded anteriorly. Girdle unknown.
