Lotosaurus adentus
Taxonomy
Lotosaurus adentus was named by Zhang (1975). Its type specimen is IVPP V 4881, an other ("A great number of skeletal bones representing more than 10 individuals"), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Furongqiao, Sangzhi, which is in an Anisian coastal horizon in the Xinlingzhen Formation of China. It is the type species of Lotosaurus.
