Taxonomy
Parallelostroma longicolumnum was named by Stock and Holmes (1986). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mustoe, biostromes, which is in a Pridoli/Lochkovian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Keyser Formation of Virginia.
