Taxonomy
Tchoiria klauseni was named by Ksepka et al. (2005). Its type specimen is IGM 1/8, a partial skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Two Volcanoes (MAS-AMNH), which is in an Aptian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/sandstone in Mongolia.
