Nikitin et al. 1996Shell ventribiconvex, smooth, with parasulcate anterior margin; ventral sulcus and dorsal fold developed anterior to mid-length; ventral interior with small teeth supported by short and thin, laterally placed dental plates; dorsal interior with septalium supported by low median septum; brachidium with up to four laterally directed whorls, jugal processes discrete and directed posteroventrally.
