Cotylorhynchus hancocki

Taxonomy
Cotylorhynchus hancocki was named by Olson and Beerbower (1953). Its type specimen is CNHM (FMNH) UR 154, a set of limb elements (right humerus and proximal end of right radius), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality HA ("Lower San Angelo Fm."), which is in a Kungurian/Roadian fluvial claystone/conglomerate in the San Angelo Formation of Texas.
