Taxonomy
Ecclimadictyon faveolatum was named by Antropova (2007). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kozhym River, Pripolyarnyy Ural, outcrop 110, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Padimeytyvis Formation of the Russian Federation.
