Taxonomy
Stellarocrinus cuneatus was named by Lane and Webster (1966) [Holotype now at Los Angeles County Museum]. Its type specimen is UCLA 23658, a calyx (Partial crown), and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Brabeocrinus cuneatus by Pabian and Strimple (1974).
