Coolkilella maitlandi
Taxonomy
Coolkilella maitlandi was named by Archbold (1996). Its type specimen is GSWA F223/3, a valve (External mould, dorsal valve and partial internal mould of associated conjoined shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Simpson Knolls, Simpson Collection, Mingenew, which is in a Kungurian coastal sandstone in the Mingenew Formation of Australia.
