Cundaria aquilaformis

Taxonomy
Cundaria aquilaformis was named by Archbold (1996). Its type specimen is GSWA F232/1, a valve (Dorsal valve, external mould with associated ventral interarea and complete internal mould of conjoined shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Simpson Knolls, Simpson Collection, Mingenew, which is in a Kungurian coastal sandstone in the Mingenew Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Cundaria.
