Occidalia shahi
Taxonomy
Occidalia shahi was named by Archbold (1997). Its type specimen is UWA 34309, a shell (Internal mould of shell and external mould of dorsal valve with ventral umbo and interarea), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Glendevon Homestead, Woolaga Creek, Irwin River District, Perth Basin, which is in an Artinskian shoreface sandstone in the High Cliff Sandstone Formation of Australia.
