Taxonomy
Tumaroceras dignum was named by Bogoslovskaya (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 4671/4 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Liur-yaga Creek, Talata Svita, Pai-Khoy Range, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Talata Formation of the Russian Federation.
